Claudia María Barrera Noriega, an employee of Energuate, has been honored with the Labor Excellence Order. The award was presented by the Women's Worker Section of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare as part of International Women's Day celebrations.
The recognition highlights the exceptional work of women who make significant contributions across different economic sectors in Guatemala. Barrera Noriega was among 24 women from both public and private sectors who were recognized during a ceremony attended by President Bernardo Arévalo, Vice President Karin Herrera, and Minister of Labor Miriam Roquel.
