Energuate has announced that it has reached 2.5 million customers connected to its electricity network in Guatemala. The company marked the milestone by recognizing Brenda Macz Quiñónez, a resident of Purucilá village in Santa Ana, Petén, as the 2.5 millionth customer. She received a recognition and household appliances to help her family benefit from access to electricity.
Energuate operates in 21 out of 22 departments across the country. The company connects more than 100,000 households to the grid each year, expanding opportunities for growth and progress for families and communities.
