Empresa Eléctrica de Guatemala (EEGSA) has reported progress in its Rural Electrification Program, which aims to expand access to reliable electricity services in its areas of operation. In 2023, the program benefited five communities across different departments, providing over 100 families and 500 individuals with safe and dependable electricity.
According to EEGSA, "We are proud to contribute to the harmony of life for a better world with our Rural Electrification Program, which in 2023 benefited five communities in different departments within our area of influence. Thanks to this program, more than 100 families and 500 people have accessed safe and reliable electric service, improving their quality of life and gaining new development opportunities. We will continue working hard to achieve our goal of 100% coverage throughout our area of influence."
