Energuate has announced upgrades to its electricity distribution network in western Guatemala. The company is replacing four kilometers of existing cables with higher-capacity lines to meet increasing energy demand in the region.

The project is centered around the Huehuetenango Substation and aims to improve service for municipalities and communities in both Huehuetenango and Quiché. According to Energuate, the new cables are more durable and have greater capacity, which will help provide a more stable and continuous electricity supply for thousands of residents who rely on power for their daily activities.

Energuate stated, "The growth in energy demand in this region is a positive sign of the economic and social progress of the communities, which is why we invest in infrastructure to accompany and support development."

The company emphasized its commitment to providing reliable and safe electrical service as part of broader efforts to support local development. Energuate added, "We create connections that transform lives."
