Banco G&T Continental has introduced a program called GTC Mujer, aiming to strengthen the economic independence of women in Guatemala. The initiative is designed to provide women with easier access to financial resources and offers exclusive benefits tailored to their needs.

The bank states that the GTC Mujer program enables female applicants to obtain quick loans without requiring collateral and at preferential rates. Application processes are simplified, with minimal requirements for banking transactions. The main features include fast approval, trust in the applicant’s payment ability without needing guarantees, a cashback credit card offering up to 5% reimbursement on various purchase categories, contactless payment technology with free wearables, exclusive discounts and promotions, and flexible repayment options.

Applicants must be individual merchants or professionals. Required documents include a copy of identification (DPI) and tax number (NIT), bank statements from the last three months, proof of address through a utility bill, and either a business license or professional registration number.

Banco G&T Continental emphasizes its ongoing commitment to supporting women’s empowerment in Guatemala. According to the bank: "Banco G&T Continental not only positions itself as a reference in financial management in Guatemala but also continues developing initiatives that foster growth and well-being for women."

The bank highlights its specially designed credit card for women as part of these efforts: "A key example of this is the GTC Mujer credit card, which has been designed to continue providing financial tools that drive stability and economic progress for its beneficiaries."
