The last Farmer's Fair of 2025 in the metropolitan region will take place in Villa Nueva, Guatemala. The event is part of ongoing efforts to support family economies and strengthen the commercial skills of local farmers by providing spaces where they can sell their products directly to consumers. Available goods will include fruits, vegetables, basic grains, dairy products, eggs, honey, and other foods at fair prices without intermediaries.

Residents of Villa Nueva, especially those from Bárcena, are invited to attend on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The fair will be held at the La Ceiba building of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food (MAGA), located at kilometer 22 on the Route to the Pacific in Bárcena, Villa Nueva. Activities begin at 8 a.m., with parking available for attendees.

According to organizers: "With each fair, the bond between rural producers and city families is strengthened, promoting healthy food consumption, boosting the economy and encouraging agricultural production."

This initiative aims to reinforce connections between rural producers and urban families while promoting healthy eating habits and stimulating economic activity.
