The Universidad Mesoamericana held its central campus graduation ceremony in Guatemala City on Saturday, June 21. The event brought together university authorities, faculty, family members, and friends to recognize students who completed their academic programs.
Graduates from the Faculty of Social Communication Sciences, the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Economic Sciences, and the Master's Program received their professional degrees during the ceremony. University officials highlighted that this milestone is a result of years of dedication and commitment by students.
During remarks at the event, university leaders emphasized Universidad Mesoamericana's commitment to comprehensive education. They stated: "The commitment that Universidad Mesoamericana has with the integral formation of its students goes beyond academics; it also involves human, ethical, and spiritual growth." The importance of entering society with a critical perspective and transformative values inspired by the institution's Salesian identity was underlined.
Authorities encouraged graduates to become agents of change in their communities and professions. They said: "We call on graduates to maintain a passion for continuous learning and never forget that true success lies in serving others with humility, competence, and responsibility."
The university congratulated all graduates for their achievement. "It fills us with pride to see how each one represents the collective effort of an educational community committed to excellence and social transformation," they stated.
University officials invited new professionals to continue contributing their talents toward building a more just society. "Congratulations, class of 2025! The future is in your hands and we fully trust your ability to face it with wisdom, passion, and leadership," they concluded.
