During the period when the Bono 14 is distributed, there has been an increase in fraudulent activities targeting recipients. Criminals often use tactics such as phishing messages and attempts to obtain personal information under false pretenses. In response, Banco G&T Continental has issued guidance to help users protect their funds.

The bank emphasized that customers should never share personal or banking details over the phone or through messages from unknown numbers. "A legitimate bank will not ask for this information unexpectedly," the statement said.

Banco G&T Continental also advised clients to safeguard their cards and PINs, noting that offers requiring users to invite others instead of focusing on a product could be a warning sign of fraud. Suspicious messages requesting verification of bonuses or data should not be answered; instead, customers are encouraged to confirm any communication through official channels.

Frequent monitoring of account activity was another key recommendation. Any unusual transactions should be reported immediately. The bank stressed the importance of using only official websites and applications for checking or receiving the Bono 14, cautioning against links shared via social media or messaging chains.

"The security of your Bono 14 depends on your decisions," Banco G&T Continental stated. "By following these recommendations, you will be one step ahead of possible fraud and theft."

Customers are reminded to stay informed and act with caution during this period.
