The Guatemalan Social Security Institute (IGSS) is holding its Virtual Health Week 2025 under the theme "Healthy workers, productive companies." The event aims to promote preventive health among employees of companies and institutions affiliated with the Medical Care System in Company Clinics.

From December 1 to 5, IGSS specialists are presenting topics focused on comprehensive health care. These include ergonomics to prevent workplace injuries, visual and auditory health for recognizing risks and adopting healthy habits, pulmonary health to strengthen the respiratory system, and an educational discussion on sexual health for making safe decisions.

More than 200 agreements have been signed between IGSS and various organizations to join the Medical Care System in Company Clinics. All sessions are available on YouTube at multiple times throughout the day—9:00, 12:00, 16:00, and 18:00 hours. Interested participants can still register and access materials through a QR code.

Dr. Rudy López, head of the Department of Preventive Medicine at IGSS, stated: "We thank each one for connecting, taking a break from their activities and investing their time in something priceless: their well-being. We hope these spaces provide practical tools, clear answers and motivation to adopt healthy habits."
