The Ministerio de Cultura y Deportes de Guatemala has highlighted several cultural initiatives and events through a series of tweets posted on December 3, 2025. The posts cover activities ranging from educational workshops to interactive museum experiences and the intersection of sports with national heritage.

This workshop is aimed at museum guides and is being conducted by Spanish expert Alejandro Vásquez at the Centro Cultural de España in Guatemala.

Another tweet from the same day promoted an upcoming hands-on event: "#Petén | ¡Crea tu propio vaso maya!

Additionally, in another post on December 3, the ministry described how sports fans are engaging with national heritage sites: " ¡El fútbol se une con el patrimonio!

Supporters of Xelajú MC visited the National Palace of Culture for guided tours ahead of their team's match against Costa Rica's Liga Deportiva Alajuelense in the Concacaf Central American Cup final.

These activities reflect ongoing efforts by Guatemalan authorities to promote both cultural education and public engagement with heritage. The Ministry of Culture and Sports regularly organizes such events to strengthen cultural identity and increase public access to historical sites and traditions throughout Guatemala.
