More than 300 people attended the final 2025 edition of Vive UFM, an event organized by Francisco Marroquín University to introduce prospective students and their families to university life. The event provided hands-on experiences related to academic programs and allowed attendees to interact with current students and faculty.
Madelene Cifuentes, Director of Admissions at UFM, said, "Each edition of Vive UFM is an opportunity to guide future students in making such an important decision as choosing their career. It allows them to learn first-hand what their future will be like at Francisco Marroquín University, as well as tour the campus and discover other opportunities they will have as part of the House of Freedom."
This edition featured Serendipia, a monthly activity organized by the Ludwig von Mises Library where UFM students showcased their talents in a show held at the Manuel F. Ayau Garden. Cifuentes noted that this addition aimed to enrich participants' experience during the event.
Cifuentes also explained that each Vive UFM includes participation from students from various schools who actively join in activities. There is also a space for dialogue with parents; on this occasion, María Denisse Vásquez gave a talk about learning and study methods.
Parents had guided tours through the Faculty of Medicine and the Academic Building led by Luis Figueroa, Director of Public Relations. These tours offered families insight into the university community and environment.
The university stated that events like Vive UFM are designed to connect prospective students with academic life and its characteristic spirit of freedom.
