The Empresa Eléctrica de Guatemala (EEGSA), in partnership with the Antigua Guatemala City Council, has completed a project to illuminate Calle de los Pasos. The initiative involved installing energy-efficient LED lights on street lamps and metal posts along more than 550 meters of this historic street.

According to EEGSA, the lighting aims to enhance both safety for pedestrians and the visual appeal of the area, including its chapels. "We are proud to be part of this initiative that promotes tourism and contributes to the preservation of our historical heritage," said representatives from EEGSA.

EEGSA is part of EPM Guatemala.
