On November 4, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food (MAGA) delivered food assistance to 10,637 families in Sacapulas who are experiencing food insecurity. The initiative was carried out through the Vice Ministry of Food and Nutritional Security (VISAN).

The distribution was organized to ensure that all eligible families received support. Each family was provided with a package containing rice, beans, vegetable oil, nixtamalized corn flour, oats, sugar, and a fortified blend of corn and soy flour.

Staff from the Directorate of Food and Nutritional Assistance (DAAN) under VISAN managed the delivery process. The Comptroller General’s Office was present during the distribution to ensure transparency.

According to MAGA: "With these actions, MAGA reaffirms its commitment to supporting communities in vulnerable situations and promoting comprehensive and sustainable development throughout the country."
