Embotelladora La Mariposa has received authorization as an Authorized Economic Operator (OEA-GT) from the Superintendence of Tax Administration (SAT) in Guatemala. This designation applies to both its importer and exporter operations and is based on compliance with security standards in the international logistics chain for foreign trade.

The OEA program recognizes operators that are reliable and secure within the global logistics chain. These companies comply with international security standards, customs legislation, and benefit from certain facilitation measures granted by customs authorities due to their partnership status. CBC is among the organizations highlighted as partners.

According to Embotelladora La Mariposa, "Embotelladora La Mariposa received, by the Superintendence of Tax Administration (SAT), the authorization as Authorized Economic Operator of Guatemala (OEA-GT) in the roles of Importer and Exporter, which confirms our commitment to comply with international and national security standards on foreign trade, in pursuit of transparency."

The company has maintained these authorizations since 2018. This has been possible through timely and proper risk management practices and comprehensive security efforts that include physical security, occupational health and safety, food safety, information security, and cargo security. The company stated: "With this, we guarantee good handling of goods, certainty and credibility in all our processes, in order to contribute to the economic development and international trade of the country."

Embotelladora La Mariposa also maintains a Control and Security Management System policy under OEA GT standards that is available upon request to interested parties.
