The Ministry of Education of Guatemala (Mineduc Guatemala) published a series of health and safety advisories on its official X account on November 4, 2025. The posts covered topics including kidney health, the cost-free nature of educational programs, and dengue prevention measures in schools.
In a post from November 4, 2025, Mineduc Guatemala reminded the public about maintaining healthy kidneys: "Recuerda: para tener riñones sanos, muévete todos los días y toma agua pura. Ejercicio e hidratación, la mejor combinación. Para tu salud #EligeLoMejor https://t.co/FTwXNqMCoh".
Later that day, the ministry addressed concerns about the cost of educational services: "Todos los programas del Ministerio de Educación son gratuitos. Si te piden dinero, denúncialo: al 1503. También en https://t.co/CwSVT06AA5 o de manera presencial en planta central y en las Direcciones Departamentales de Educación de tu localidad. Recuerda estar informado en https://t.co/aCtDYrWIID". This message reiterated that all programs provided by the Ministry are free and encouraged individuals to report any requests for payment through official channels.
In another post on November 4, 2025, Mineduc Guatemala emphasized community involvement in public health efforts: "¡Todos podemos contribuir en la prevención del dengue! Sigue estas recomendaciones en tu centro educativo para prevenir las larvas de los zancudos transmisores del dengue #SinZancudoNoHayDengue https://t.co/FKuXZevcCw".
The Ministry of Education regularly uses social media to inform citizens about its policies and public health campaigns. In recent years, Guatemalan authorities have focused on improving access to education and promoting disease prevention strategies in schools as part of broader public health initiatives.
