Students, faculty, staff, and friends of Francisco Marroquín University (UFM) have been participating in "Serendipia," a monthly event that provides a stage for individuals to share their talents. The event includes performances such as singing, poetry recitation, playing musical instruments, and stand-up comedy.

During September 2025, participants included George Albadr (guitar and singing), Felipe Aldana (guitar and singing), Adrián Contreras (writing), Sebastián Barrios (violin), and Adrián Pérez (guitar). In October 2025, the performers were George Albadr (guitar and singing), Nicole Cardoza, Caterina del Carro, Nicole Falla, Tomislav Prera (all with singing), and Phillip Falla (classical guitar).

The event is organized with support from the Ludwig von Mises Library. According to organizers, Serendipia aims to celebrate diverse voices at UFM and encourage mutual support in an artistic environment.

The activity takes place on the first Thursday of each month. The next edition is scheduled for November 13, 2025, during "Vive la UFM" at the bust of Francisco Marroquín in the Manuel F. Ayau Garden. Entry is free and open to anyone interested.

"In this occasion you have until October 25 to apply by sending an email with your request to participate, a brief description of the talent you want to share and the approximate duration of your presentation," said Karla Juárez de Peña from Public Relations at the Ludwig von Mises Library.

"If you have an entrepreneurial project related to your talent or presentation, you can bring information to share and promote yourself on social media or even materials or products to share with attendees," added Karla de Peña.

"We will contact you approximately three business days after receiving your proposal to confirm your participation and assigned space," she concluded.
