Banco G&T Continental has introduced a fully online process for applying for its GTC Credit Card. The bank states that the card is designed to help customers manage their finances and simplify daily transactions.
The application can be completed entirely online, without the need to visit a branch or wait in line. According to Banco G&T Continental, applicants can choose from several card options, including GTC Infinite, which provides premium benefits and VIP lounge access; GTC Platinum, offering travel insurance and exclusive rewards; and GTC Clásica, intended for those starting their credit history.
Applicants begin by visiting the bank’s website to select their preferred card. The process is digital from start to finish. "From that moment on, the process is completely digital and continuous; if you leave the page without interacting, the system does not save your progress. That is why it is important to complete it in one session, following each step carefully from start to final confirmation," Banco G&T Continental said.
Identity verification uses facial biometrics technology. Applicants are asked to take a real-time photo as part of this step. If there are issues with validation, they may try again.
Personal information such as name, date of birth, identification number (DPI), and income must also be provided. The system reviews these details before informing applicants whether they qualify to proceed.
After submitting an application, Banco G&T Continental verifies the information provided. "Once you confirm your application, we will validate your information. If everything is correct, we will contact you within the next few hours with the next steps. You do not need to go to any office: the entire process is 100% digital," according to Banco G&T Continental.
Completing an application online allows customers to avoid travel and waiting times while managing everything from a mobile device or computer.
