Corporacion Multi Inversiones issued the following announcement on Sept. 14.
On April 9, the International Association of Operative Millers - IAOM - recognized the commitment of CMI's Strategic Flour Business Unit to the health and safety of our employees in our operations.
On this occasion, IAOM praised the team's effort to achieve ZERO accidents during 2019 in six of our organization's plants, being them:
Molino Excelsior, Guatemala - 5th. consecutive year
INHSA, Guatemala - 3rd. year of receipt
INA Mill, Guatemala - 3rd. year of receipt and 2nd. consecutive year
Aprovigra, Guatemala - 1st. year of receipt
FHACASA, Costa Rica - 4th. year of receipt and 2nd. consecutive year
Molinos Modernos, Dominican Republic - 2nd. year of receipt
It should be noted that at Molino Excélsior we celebrated nine consecutive years without accidents and seven years at Aprovigra, a reflection of a very strengthened culture and with a lot of commitment on the part of our collaborators. IAOM has recognized MOLEX for these good practices for five consecutive years, and APROVIGRA joins this year for the first time by receiving the Safety Award recognition.
This recognition that is given to those mills where our people live a 100% responsible culture by fully complying with all prevention, hygiene and safety measures, is a great pride for all of us and reinforces our commitment, responsibility, excellence and dedication for the safety of each and every one of us.
