Corporacion Multi Inversiones recently issued the following announcement.
This is a date that will be remembered by the families of Zacapa, since the first commercial center of the Department opens its doors with a solid and innovative commercial offer: 69 commercial stores and 20 kiosks are ready to welcome guests, with brands such as Dollarcity, MAX, Totto, Miniso, Carrion, Bite, Sarita, MD, Carrousel, Lili Pink and many more.
This shopping center, located in the departmental capital of Zacapa, is the thirteenth of the Pradera chain, the largest in Guatemala. It was developed by Multi-Projects in just 11 months, exceeding 14 thousand square meters of construction and requiring an investment of more than USD $ 16 million.
“At CMI, we are developing a comprehensive renovation and expansion plan for our chain of shopping centers in the country, through our real estate unit, and a fundamental piece in this process is the inauguration of this shopping center in Zacapa. We have taken care of every detail, because we know that this place will become the center of meeting, entertainment and convenience of all Zacapaneca families, in addition to promoting the care of the environment of the area where it operates due to the innovative use of clean energy of solar panels ” , Commented Ricardo González, General Director of Multi-Projects.
One of the main differentiators of Pradera in Zacapa is that it has a food court that integrates with a playground, an outdoor pergola and a green area set with lights and benches. A place where visitors can enjoy very well selected gastronomic concepts such as: Tony's Grill, Domino's, Taco Bell, Subway, McDonald's, Chinito Veloz and La Parrilla Argentina.
The parking lot of the shopping center has capacity for 300 cars and 70 motorcycles, from where visitors have easy access to a Pollo Campero restaurant, a cinema complex of the Cinépolis chain that will start operations in 2020 and a modern La Torre supermarket.
In this regard, José Mario López, Marketing Director of La Torre supermarkets, says: “We are excited to open a new store at the Pradera shopping center in Zacapa. This has more than 730 square meters of sales room and 1,200 meters in total; which includes wineries, reception and staff service areas. The Zacapanecos will enjoy shopping at La Torre as they will have more than 10,000 products at their availability. ”

The activities for the end of the year 2019 in Pradera are the following:
November 10, Start of the Christmas Season. Pradera has prepared a series of activities to welcome Christmas: a musical show, a light show and the lighting of the Christmas tree. The Polar Express, an electric train, will be making tours inside the mall to transport the little ones to the most beautiful time of the year.
November 29, Start of Black Weekend. On this date and adding to the commercial tradition of Black Friday, 3 days of promotions and special discounts, extended hours, fashion shows and live music begin in Pradera.
December 8, Lights and Christmas Band Show. A special light show has been prepared to enjoy with the family, and a band composed of Christmas characters will walk the halls dancing and interacting with the guests.
