Corporacion Multi Inversiones issued the following announcement on Sept. 25.
The innovative mixed-use project, final details to open the doors of its commercial area with more than 70,000 square meters of construction in November 2019.
The quality of life of the residents of zones 11, 12, 21 and surrounding municipalities, will improve significantly from the month of November with the opening of a new Prairie. Developed by Multi-Projects in partnership with Grupo Tecún, this new shopping center is part of a mixed-use project, commerce-housing, which includes two apartment towers to be delivered in 2020.
This innovative concept, strategically located in the 12th zone of the capital and with access from two main arteries, Avenida Petapa and Calzada Atanasio Tzul, began its construction in October 2018, and prepares the grand opening of its commercial area for next November.
“ Pradera represents great news for the residents of the area, who have received this project with great enthusiasm. We are in the final stage of building a very modern and first level shopping center, where we have followed the global trends in environmental care, design, setting, accessibility and convenience. Everything has been thought and developed so that visiting us is a great experience , ”said Ricardo González, General Director of Multi-Projects.
Having an investment of more than US $ 53 million, by the time of its inauguration, the construction of this shopping center with two levels and three basements will have lasted a total of 13 months. In the construction stage it has generated more than 1,000 temporary jobs and in its operation more than 700 permanent job opportunities are projected.
Pradera has carefully selected its commercial mix, making alliances with prestigious brands and thinking about the modern lifestyle of the consumer in its area of influence. On this, Natalia Cozza, Manager of Community Shopping Centers, shares, “Pradera has a lot to offer, we have thought of every detail to receive Guatemalan families with 118 stores, 29 kiosks, 946 parking lots, a children's entertainment area, 4 fork restaurants and 11 restaurants in our modern food court, a La Torre supermarket, and very soon, 7 cinemas in Cinépolis ”.
To achieve a perfect harmony with its surroundings, this shopping center was designed looking for the care of natural resources, emphasizing natural lighting, cross ventilation and efficient use of water. The use of natural materials that provide a cozy atmosphere, such as wood, ornamental plants and a set of water sources, was also contemplated.
“This new concept in the sector will have a housing area, which is already under construction and will consist of two towers of modern apartments that will have a total of 118 units. The completion of this stage, which has been received with great success because of the great amount of benefits it offers, is planned for the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021 , ”González added.
