CORPORACION MULTI INVERSIONES: Toledo shares about good practices and organizational commitment at the 1st GRETECEG Congress

Corporacion Multi Inversiones issued the following announcement on Sept. 9.

Toledo participated in the first congress dedicated to professionals specialized in pig farming in Guatemala, organized by the Guild of Specialist Technicians in Pigs of Guatemala (GRETECEG), on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 September.

This first congress was attended by professionals from the pig sector and national and foreign speakers, specialists in human resources, health alerts, nutrition, among others. During the second day of the 1st GRETECEG Congress, Marvin de León and Elmer Oliva, representatives of Toledo, participated as speakers.

Marvin de León, head of Human Resources of Toledo, gave a talk on Organizational Commitment and the important role that motivation and internal communication plays for employees, located in both administrative offices and farms. Marvin also shared with the audience about the importance of promoting a healthy balance between personal and work time to encourage greater commitment of employees towards the organization.

Elmer Oliva, Fattening Manager of Empacadora Toledo, presented the topic Ventilation in pig production. Elmer explained how, in farms located in areas with high temperatures, providing optimal conditions for pigs is essential to achieve adequate thermal comfort for pig production. Both speakers received recognition for their participation and obtained excellent comments from the audience.
