Corporacion Multi Inversiones recently issued the following announcement.
Located in San Pedro Carchá, Alta Verapaz, the Renace Hydroelectric Complex coexists with 29 Q'echies communities and, through its 7 programs of sustainable social development, accompanies the neighbors in their different stages of life.
The projects that are carried out in the area and that contribute to improving the quality of life of neighboring families are:
"Gravity Supply Water System" which favors 500 residents of the communities of Rubel Cruz and is managed by the same community The project consists of 2 water storage tanks and its distribution is through pitcher filling which are strategically located in the community, and may be used by the communities of: Rubel Cruz, Chixacao and Purulá.This project has an investment of Q660,000.00
The second project is "Community Pilas", which favors 4 communities: Rubel Cruz, Chixacao, Purulá and Okebá, benefiting 2,900 people with an investment of Q500,000.00.
Both projects are carried out by agreements between Renace and the neighboring communities, and are part of the development and infrastructure program that Renace is dedicating to the region.
