Corporacion Multi Inversiones issued the following announcement on Jan. 21.
The Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation, the social arm of CMI, Corporación Multi Inversiones, initiated the call for the University Scholarships program in its twentieth edition. The program is aimed at young people with limited economic resources who wish to continue their studies at the university level in the best private universities in Guatemala.
The Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation Program is characterized by providing full scholarships, covers 100% of the costs of the university career chosen by the fellow , including enrollment and enrollment, monthly fee for personal expenses and books, support in English and residence University for students who come from the departments of the country.
The call is aimed at young people who meet the following requirements:
Be of limited economic resources, verifiable through a socio-economic visit.
To complete the last year of diversified studies, to graduate in 2019.
Have a general average of 85 from 3rd basic and each year diversified.
"We are proud to present the twentieth edition of the Scholarship Program of the Fundación Juan Bautista Gutiérrez and we invite all young people with limited resources with academic excellence who are looking for an opportunity to continue their dreams and pursue a university degree to participate in the call.. We urge you to prepare your applications in time to have a successful application, "said Cristina Díaz, Executive Director of Fundación Juan Bautista Gutiérrez.
To participate in the process, those interested should enter the page www.fundaciónjgb.org , where they will find the form to enter their data. In addition, they will find the steps to follow and the documents they must submit to apply to the process.
The call is now open and will end on April 23, 2019. From this date, the Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation team will evaluate each of the files and initiate the process of evaluation and selection of students who apply for scholarship.
The selection process of the Foundation is complete and meticulous, includes evaluations of mathematical and verbal abilities, personality and values, and economic situation, among others. The process lasts several months and culminates in November, with the official delivery of the scholarships to start in the first cycle of 2020.
Currently 125 young people are studying their university careers and 116 professionals already graduates of the program. The University Scholarships of the Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation are characterized by an adequate selection of young participants, who for 20 years have stood out for having a profile of high academic and moral level, and conclude their studies in the stipulated years of the race.

The scholarship is that opportunity that allows them to shine and fulfill their dream of going to university to become professionals ",concluded Doña Isabelita Gutiérrez de Bosch, President of the Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation.
