CMI, Corporación Multi Inversiones, has been recognized for the third consecutive year by the Guatemala Green Building Council (GGBC) with the “Multiplicador de Impacto” award. The distinction is given to companies that promote sustainability, innovation, and responsible construction in Guatemala.
The award was presented during GGBC’s fifteenth anniversary gala. CMI Capital was acknowledged for its strategic vision on sustainability and its role in supporting responsible projects that strengthen the industry and contribute to national development.
Enrique Crespo, CEO of CMI Capital, stated: “At CMI we firmly believe that sustainability is the way to build the future. This recognition from the Guatemala Green Building Council inspires us to continue promoting projects and initiatives that generate shared value and promote well-being in the areas where we operate, as well as environmental care and responsible development in Central America and the Caribbean.”
CMI Capital has become a strategic partner of GGBC and the construction sector through participation in initiatives aimed at better practices, fostering innovation, and raising national sustainability standards.
The company has supported professionalization within real estate and commercial ecosystems by providing technical tools, dialogue spaces, and specialized content. These actions encourage more developers to include sustainable criteria from design through project operation. This collaborative effort has helped establish CMI as a true “Multiplicador de Impacto.”
CMI Capital’s approach aligns with its values—Responsibility, Excellence, Integrity, and Respect—and with its goal of generating opportunities that change lives with a family-oriented warmth.
Crespo added: “This award reflects the work of a great team driving projects that transcend generations. Being seen as Multipliers of Impact motivates us to keep moving forward because sustainability is what guides our decisions and how we invest and build a future with vision, coherence, and positive impact.”
Through CMI Capital’s initiatives—including renewable energy projects, real estate development, shopping center operations, and financial solutions—the company aims to drive economic growth while maintaining environmental and social responsibility.
Currently led by third-generation family members Juan José Gutiérrez Mayorga (President Chairman of CMI Alimentos) and Felipe Bosch Gutiérrez (President Chairman of CMI Capital), CMI remains committed to making impactful investments that foster sustainable development.
