Mayra Motta, Deputy Minister of Agricultural Health and Regulations, has been sworn in as the alternate representative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food (MAGA) to the Board of Directors of the Cadastral Information Registry (RIC).
According to the ministry, this appointment strengthens MAGA's active participation in strategic areas related to rural and territorial development. The RIC is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and updating the national cadastre, which is considered an essential tool for land planning and management.
The ministry stated that with Motta’s incorporation, it reaffirms its institutional commitment to fulfilling its functions in all bodies where it holds representation. "With this incorporation we reaffirm our institutional commitment to fulfill our institutional functions in all organizations where we have representation, contributing effectively to the comprehensive development of the population," according to a statement from MAGA.
