The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food (MAGA) in Guatemala has taken steps to enhance agricultural education by collaborating with technical trainers from the School Field for School Feeding (ETCAE). The group visited the National Central School of Agriculture (ENCA) in Bárcena, Villa Nueva.

During the visit, participants learned about ENCA’s educational system, toured productive areas, and observed the MASHAV Israel project focused on extensive crops. According to officials, "With this visit, we also consolidate the application of active and relevant methodologies in agricultural training processes."

This initiative is part of the ETCAE–CEMUCAF 2025 training proposal. It aims to improve both technical and teaching skills among ETCAE trainers. MAGA states that these efforts are intended to support ongoing improvements in agricultural education across Guatemala.
