Editors of scientific and academic journals in Guatemala are invited to attend a virtual conference titled “Postulación de revistas al portal biblat.” The event will be led by Luis Javier Félix Acosta from the General Directorate of Library Services (DGSB) at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
The conference is scheduled for July 2 at 10:00 a.m. and will be held online. Organizers state that this session aims to inform participants about the requirements and process for submitting their journals to Biblat, a platform designed to increase the visibility and dissemination of scientific knowledge in Latin America.
“This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the requirements and process for submitting your journals to the Biblat portal, a key platform for the visibility and dissemination of scientific knowledge in Latin America,” organizers said.
Interested editors are encouraged to register for participation.
Other upcoming activities include literary events focused on rediscovering Gabriel García Márquez, reading sessions on works such as “Who Moved My Cheese?” by Spencer Johnson, and courses on cataloging electronic journals using MARC 21.
