CBC, a beverage distribution company, has announced its participation in the distribution of Nutri Listo, a new nutritional supplement aimed at reducing chronic child malnutrition. The product was developed by Listo, a nutrition-focused company, and is intended to provide essential vitamins and minerals that are often lacking in children's diets.

Nutri Listo is currently available in neighborhood stores in the Chimaltenango and Sacatepéquez departments and will be distributed throughout the rest of the country soon. CBC's involvement includes using its distribution network to ensure that Nutri Listo reaches remote communities.

Listo developed Nutri Listo with technical assistance from Vanderbilt University in the United States, under the supervision of Professor Ted Fischer. The Central American and Panamanian Institute of Nutrition (INCAP) also contributed scientific guidance for the product's formulation.

A spokesperson from CBC stated: "We are committed to social development and convinced that these actions are part of transformation and mark change in Guatemala’s future."
