Energuate has reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability in Guatemala through its ENERGUATE Verde program, which has been active for over a decade. The company reports that the first reforestation event of the year took place in San Luis Jilotepeque, Jalapa, with participation from students at Escuela Aldea Chagüitón.
Over recent years, more than 360,000 trees have been planted as part of this initiative. Energuate states these efforts help strengthen forests, improve water recharge areas, and restore soil quality. The company sees these actions as contributing to sustainable development in the country.
Energuate expressed appreciation for the support of its employees and partners: "We thank our collaborators and allies for their commitment. Each tree planted represents a step toward sustainability and a legacy for future generations."
The company concluded by stating: "We create connections that transform lives."
