Energuate hosts third meeting for major energy procurement tender in Guatemala

Energuate has continued its efforts to promote a more reliable and sustainable energy model in Guatemala. The company held the third informational meeting for the PEG-5-2025 Open Tender, which aims to secure up to 1,400 MW of guaranteed power and associated energy. This initiative is intended to ensure long-term electricity supply and contribute to transforming Guatemala's energy future.

The event was attended by Hugo Ventura, Minister of Energy and Mines, as well as representatives from companies interested in participating in the tender. According to Energuate, "With PEG-5 we reaffirm our purpose of creating connections that transform lives and entire communities."

The process is considered an important step toward achieving a safer and more dependable energy system for all Guatemalans.
