Corporacion Multi Inversiones issued the following announcement on July 28.
Since last March, Pollo Campero closed its restaurants (table service) as a preventive measure when Covid-19 arrived in our country.
Through a statement, it was reported that after the news of the gradual reopening, the brand's priority will continue to be health and safety for its employees and consumers.
"For months, Pollo Campero has prepared protocols to safely receive and serve our customers in restaurants across the country, as well as pertinent operational modifications," he explained.
As indicated, they are working so that lovers of the Campero flavor can visit their restaurants as a safe experience.
Ready for the Campero flavor
The Guatemalan brand reported on the security measures that will be taken for the reopening of table service in its restaurants.
"We will take their temperature upon admission, we will provide them with antibacterial gel, we will comply with the physical distance, we will make digital menus available to them, in addition to other preventive measures."
Also, it was indicated that after evaluating the provisions presented this Sunday, July 26 by the Government of Guatemala, the date for the reopening will be reported.
"Right now we are analyzing the regulations that the authorities made public this morning through the official newspaper and the messages that the president and the ministers who accompanied him on the night of July 26 shared on the national network," he added.
It is expected that they will soon announce the hours, capacity and date for the return of table service.
Gradual reopening
This Sunday the measures that apply by commercial activity were presented according to the alert system by municipalities that will apply for the coming months in the country.
Restaurants will be able to provide service at tables with various security measures that include social distancing (calculation of square meters for each person), outdoor service, service to groups of less than 10 people, entry to vulnerable people or people over 60 years.
