Corporacion Multi Inversiones issued the following announcement on Dec. 14.
CMI has a strong commitment to sustainable social development, therefore in Honduras socio-environmental projects are implemented based on four fundamental pillars: infrastructure, environment and biodiversity, health and education.
The Cerro de Hula Wind Farm located in the department of Francisco Morazán, Honduras, has an installed capacity of 126 MW and is made up of 63 wind turbines, which makes it the largest wind farm in Central America.
With its generation, in 2019, the emission of 265,600 tons of CO2 was avoided. Among their contributions are the delivery of student scholarships, the School Lunch Program, support for the Medical Brigade, among others.
It should be noted that this year various donations were made in support of the situation generated by covid-19 and the passage of tropical storms ETA and IOTA.
