Corporacion Multi Inversiones recently issued the following announcement.
To strengthen the Alta Verapaz Health System, Hidroeléctrica Santa Teresa delivered a donation of more than 10,500 medical supplies.
His priority has always been and will be the well-being and health of his collaborators, their families and communities. Hence, this donation seeks to support Alta Verapaz medical personnel.
The health crisis that the country is going through due to COVID-19 calls on all Guatemalans to work together, to show solidarity with those who need the most support. Hidroeléctrica Santa Teresa, consistent with its corporate values REIR -Responsibility, Excellence, Integrity and Respect-, contributed to the strengthening of the capacities of the Regional Hospital of Cobán Hellen Lossi de Laugerud. As well as to the Health Posts of Tamahú and Tucurú, making a donation of medical supplies that includes:
Masks
Disposable latex glove boxes
Ethyl alcohol gel
Paper towel rolls
Disposable protective suits
Gallons of Chlorine
Industrial type safety glasses
Gel alcohol dispensers.
This contribution will benefit medical personnel, users of the Hellen Lossi Regional Hospital in Laugerud, as well as the Tamahú and Tucurú Health Centers. Additionally, it contributed to the renovation of the Tucurú Health Post infrastructure, installing showers for the use of medical personnel in the area, as well as the donation of toilets and sinks to be installed in the Regional Hospital.
