Corporacion Multi Inversiones issued the following announcement on March 23.
Several companies contributed to equip the construction of the Temporary Hospital and quarantine area in the Industry Park. CervecerÃa Centro Americana donated 7.7 million quetzales in medical equipment. While Agroindustria Azucarera de Guatemala made a contribution of 7.64 million quetzales.
Another company that joined in contributions was Cementos Progreso, who will donate one kilometer of pavement in the entrance area to the Villa Nueva hospital, which means a contribution of 2.5 million quetzales. Samsung Electronics and Grupo Distelsa have not been left behind and contributed 24 sets of household appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, televisions and microwaves.
In the food area, the companies: Pollo Campero, Domino's Pizza, McDonald's, Panda Express, Little Caesars, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Al Macarone, Burguer King and Piccadilly brought food for public servants and staff who worked in the construction of this hospital.
Tropigas made a contribution of stoves, storage tank and propane gas for the kitchens of the Temporary Hospital. Claro telecommunications company enabled free navigation so that users are informed and connected with the Ministry of Health.
