Corporacion Multi Inversiones issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.
The Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation University Scholarship program is recognized for being one of the most complete projects in its category, as it grants full scholarships that cover 100% of the costs of the university career chosen by the intern, including enrollment and enrollment , a monthly stipend for personal expenses, annual book fee, for the duration of the career, including graduation expenses.
This year, the University Scholarship Program launches its call for the 2021 cycle and announces the delivery of 50 new scholarships and the decentralization of the program, since in addition to delivering scholarships to students in the Department of Guatemala in the best private universities in the city , such as the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala and Rafael Landívar University, for the first time it will provide full scholarships to young people who wish to study at the Campus and Headquarters of both universities in the interior of the country, located in the following departments: Quetzaltenango, Alta Verapaz , Huehuetenango, Zacapa, Sacatepéquez, Sololá, Escuintla and Jutiapa.
In both cases, the scholarships will be awarded to young people of academic excellence and limited financial resources who wish to continue their studies at the university level in Guatemala. This will allow more students from the interior of the country to have access to higher education and generate opportunities for change and development in their communities, taking advantage of the educational quality offered by universities.
The call is open from February 24 to April 13, and is aimed at young people who meet the following requirements:
Being of limited economic resources, verifiable through a socio-economic visit.
Being in the last year of diversified studies, to graduate in 2020.
Have an overall average of 85 from 3rd grade and each year of diversified.
“This year is very special since our University Scholarship program will grow and in addition to providing scholarships in the best universities in Guatemala City, we will also offer scholarships in the interior of the country. All scholarships will have the same benefits, with 100% coverage of the costs of the university degree. So we invite all interested young people to complete the process and dare to follow their dreams of studying a career to become professionals, ”said Cristina Díaz, Executive Director of the Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation.

The scholarship selection system, developed by the foundation, is thorough and complete, which ensures an adequate selection of young people, who for 20 years have stood out for having a high academic profile, with values of excellence, which allows them to conclude his studies in the years that the race lasts.

Once the call stage is over, the Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation team will analyze each of the files and begin the evaluation and selection of students, in a process that includes tests of mathematical and verbal abilities, personality and values, and situation economic, among others.
