Corporacion Multi Inversiones issued the following announcement on Nov. 7.
The first stage of Vistares, the mixed-use real estate concept strategically located in the capital zone 12, officially opened its doors to the Guatemalan market. It is a spectacular Pradera shopping center with two levels and two basements that have access from Petapa Avenue and Atanasio Tzul Road.

The Mall opens its doors with 98 stores, 23 kiosks and 950 parking spaces, becoming the fourteenth Pradera shopping center in the country. For its planning and development, an investment of US $ 53 million was required and after its opening, it generates more than 700 new job opportunities.
“Vistares presents its first stage, with this Pradera shopping center that was made especially for the residents of this area of the city. The second stage, which we will be presenting at the end of 2020 and is made up of 118 modern apartments in two towers that are already under construction , ”said Ricardo González, General Director of Multi-Projects.
Pradera opens its doors with stores specializing in fashion, home and technology; a wide gastronomic offer; and a series of commercial concepts thinking about the convenience of its visitors. A La Torre supermarket, pharmacy, telephone company, dental clinic and gym, are some of the proposals of this new shopping center.
In the spacious and cozy food court, located on the second level, are the brands Campero, Taco Bell, Go Green, Panda Express, McDonald's, Lai Lai, Del Molino, Subway, Al Macarone, Chicken Warlock, Mr. Taco / Spezia and The Tables of La Estancia.
Distributed in different areas of Prairie in Vistares are also ready to offer their specialties, San Martín, El Premio, Café Saúl and 100 Montaditos. On the side of Avenida Petapa there is a Café Barista with autocafé, and from the Atanasio Tzul Road, you have access to a Taco Bell restaurant with self service.
Sights
Another feature that stands out for this new Prairie is its children's area, called Chiquitiboom, which has a soft play area with special games for young children, as well as interactive slides and tunnels for older children.
By 2020 there will be the opening of a Cinépolis cinema complex, which will complement the entertainment options of the shopping center and present important innovations.
Diana Jaramillo, Manager of the Pradera Shopping Center at the Vistares complex, adds: “We are very excited about the opening of this new shopping center that is ready to receive thousands of guests with many surprises that the brands have prepared for this season to end year. We are ready for Black Friday and for Christmas, because we know that families and groups of friends were waiting to spend these dates and do their shopping here in Pradera. ”
To receive the Christmas season with its community, Pradera has prepared a special activity. On Friday, November 22, an event will be held with a light show and a special presentation, which will open a Christmas villa, a set of photographs with Santa, Christmas carols, among other surprises for the most anticipated time of the year.
