CORPORACION MULTI INVERSIONES: Renace is the recipient of the first edition of the Industrial Award in the Environment category

Corporacion Multi Inversiones recently issued the following announcement.

Renace participated in the XIV Industrial Congress organized by the Chamber of Industry of Guatemala -CIG- and won the first edition of the Industrial Award in the Environment-Large Company category.

The selection process was through elimination in 3 phases. Phase 1 contemplated basic technical issues such as legal compliance and having an environmental management system implemented. In phase 2, a field evaluation was carried out by a technical team belonging to the Guatemalan Center for Clean Production. In the last phase, the Guatemalan Center for Clean Production presented the finalist projects to the jury, which was made up of 2 representatives from CIG, a UVG representative and IDB staff.
