CORPORACION MULTI INVERSIONES: Women entrepreneurs generate economic resources from their own community

Corporacion Multi Inversiones recently issued the following announcement.

Through the Community Nutrition and Entrepreneurship Program of the Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation, the social arm of CMI, eight artisan women from the community of Xepopabaj, San Cristóbal Totonicapán, graduated with the specialty "Telar de Pie".

The group of women artisans graduated, were trained in issues of quality control, production, design, finance, leadership and entrepreneurship. These trainings generate a great impact in their families and their community, by means of the elaboration of different designs and textures in fabrics made in foot loom.

Currently, these enterprising women generate economic resources from their own community and their acquired work ability, allows them to generate radical changes in their family, which are reflected in the good health and well-being of their children.
