Corporacion Multi Inversiones issued the following announcement on May 27.

CMI was present on May 22, through Molinos Modernos and Renace, at the business tables of the twelfth National Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility organized by the Center for Action of Corporate Social Responsibility in Guatemala (Focus).

During the business session of the forum, four working groups were opened to discuss corporate, social, economic and environmental governance issues. Each table was attended by businessmen, representatives of civil society and government, and national and international experts in the different topics.

On this occasion, the representative of Molinos Modernos Luis Fernando Villaverde, Regional Director of Wheat Flours in Guatemala and Mexico, participated in the Economic panel and gave the talk Developing labor skills for economic inclusion.

The success story presented on this occasion was CEDECAP, a training center in the use of wheat flour that supports the development of technical and business skills that generate economic and sustainable benefits for people who want to start their own business.

For his part, the engineer Carlos Mérida, Manager of Environmental Management of the Renace Hydroelectric Complex, participated in the Environmental business table with the talk on Mitigation and adaptation to climate change in renewable energy projects.

The engineer Mérida presented to the audience the three phases of the environmental strategy implemented in Renace that consist of legal compliance, the implementation of best practices and environmental transcendence.

We appreciate the space provided at this year's National CSR Forum and we are very proud to continue working on issues of sustainability and corporate citizenship, making continuous improvement a permanent practice in the corporation. Together we are CMI, the force that unites us to transcend.
