Corporacion Multi Inversiones issued the following announcement on Feb. 1.
In contribution to sustainable development, the Renace Hydroelectric Complex , through its Community Infrastructure program , inaugurated and delivered to the Community Development Council of the Rubelcruz community, the hall that will serve for communal use and development of sociocultural activities.
The delivery of this infrastructure project is the result of the participatory process where community leaders in dialogue with Renace Hydroelectric identified the need to have this space for community members to carry out their activities of citizen participation as well as social activities that benefit the development of people.
Romelia Méndez, Coordinator of Community Infrastructure Programs, said: "In order to contribute to the development of the person, Renace Hydroelectric carried out the construction of the communal room so that the people of Rubelcruz exercise their right of citizen participation and sociocultural activities in an adequate environment".
During the activity, leaders of the Community Development Council and representatives of the Hydroelectric participated. For the construction of this project , 128 rotating work stations were offered , on a fortnightly basis, to the members of the community.
These actions respond to the integral strategy of sustainable social development that Renace implements in the 29 neighboring communities , to improve social indicators and support the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals in the country.
