CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF GUATEMALA: Mr. Edgardo Wagner Durán in interview

Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala issued the following announcement on Nov. 26.

From November 30 to December 23, the facilities of the Parque de la Industria will once again open its doors to Interfer, the most traditional fair among Guatemalans -including their successful "Christmas Bazaars" - that will attract nearly half a million people, with commercial transactions that will exceed Q50 million. A history of almost half a century.

In 1971, Coperex launched the first international fair known as Interfer, which since then has evolved into a tradition among Guatemalans, who take advantage of the Christmas bazaars, while enjoying food, hobbies and cultural events.

The organization of this activity is carried out by the Permanent Exhibition Committee (Coperex), in which there are representatives of the different productive sectors of the country. The representative of the Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala (CCG) in that institution, the businessman Edgardo Wagner Durán, is one of its oldest and most active members, with the permanent sectorial contribution to contribute in the growth of all the events that are organized to throughout the year. In a pleasant conversation with the magazine Mundo Comercial, Wagner Durán talks about the history, achievements and objectives of Interfer, a fair that has become a tradition, not only for the capital, but for thousands of people who visit it from the interior every year. His opinion is more than valid, since he has 15 years of being part of Coperex. Then, part of the interview held with the director of the Committee and also member of the Board of Directors of the CCG.
