Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala issued the following announcement on Oct. 9.
The 20th edition of the Buyer's Trade Mission (BTM) in San José Costa Rica organized by the Promotora del Comercio Exterior de Costa Rica (PROCOMER) was held on September 25-27. The BTM is one of the largest spaces in Latin America to do business, in which quality, innovation and a wide variety of products come together to represent the exportable goods of Costa Rica's food, agriculture and specialized industries..
During the BTM, 700 Costa Rican exporters and 300 international buyers from 50 countries around the world participated.
The Office of Trade Promotion of Guatemalaparticipated with a delegation of 13 purchasing companies from the sectors of: food, pharmaceutical, electrical, textile, furniture and decoration; having the opportunity to meet with suppliers of interest.
In addition to business appointments, entrepreneurs participated in organized visits to food and industry companies as well as in various forums; opening the opportunity for growth of trade relations between both countries.
