Corporacion Multi Inversiones issued the following announcement on Sept. 5.
CMI (Corporación Multi Inversiones), through its Modern Mills Business Unit in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, donated 4,258 square meters of land to the National Health Service (SNS) to complete the construction of the headquarters of the Comprehensive Care Center for Disability (CAID) in Santo Domingo East.
This donation will allow the completion of the construction of the work begun, a longing in this area, for the treatment of children with disabilities.
The new campus will be part of the facilities of the CAID for the evaluation, diagnosis and rehabilitation of children from zero to ten years old with autism, cerebral palsy and Down Syndrome.
"Molinos Modernos is aware of the great work that CAID does and we are proud to put a bit of what is done for the benefit of Dominican children and especially congratulate the dedication and effort of the First Lady, to make the Inclusion of children with disabilities and of scarce resources in society ", said Alberto Garita González - General Director of Molinos Modernos.
