On December 12, 2025, MAGA Guatemala invited the public to attend a local event: "Los invitamos a la #FeriadelAgricultor en Bárcena, Villa Nueva, este martes 16 de diciembre en el Km. 22 de la Ruta al Pacífico, Edificio La Ceiba. ¡Los esperamos!" The announcement highlights efforts to connect producers and consumers in rural communities.
In response to changing weather conditions, MAGA Guatemala shared advice for those working in agriculture on December 13, 2025: "Ante el descenso de temperaturas, bridamos estas recomendaciones para el sector agrícola. #ElPuebloDignoEsPrimero".
The same day, the account addressed concerns about increased use of fireworks during the season and its impact on animals: "La quema de pirotecnia aumenta durante esta época, por ello, los invitamos a seguir estas recomendaciones para saber cómo actuar y evitar que afecte a sus mascotas. #SuBienestarEsNuestraPrioridad".
The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food plays a central role in social development by promoting food security and sustainable practices among Guatemalan producers (official website).
