The Instituto Campero, as part of CMI Educa’s initiatives, held its graduation ceremony for the 2025 class. The event marked the completion of studies for the 33rd graduating class in Science and Letters by Maturity and the 13th group of graduates from diploma programs in Restaurant Administration, Computing, and English certification.

This year, 74 students graduated with a high school diploma in Science and Letters. Additionally, 39 employees completed the diploma in Restaurant Administration, 74 finished the Computing diploma, and 14 received English certifications. Of all graduates, 69% came from Guatemala City while 31% were from other regions of Guatemala.

The program is accredited by the Ministry of Education and has operated for over three decades. Over this period, it has established itself as a reliable educational platform based on quality standards. This year saw a 57% increase in graduates compared to previous years.

A key academic development was the update to the Restaurant Administration diploma curriculum to better align with industry needs. The institute also adopted a modern teaching approach that includes face-to-face classes as well as synchronous and asynchronous learning formats. Students participated in interdisciplinary projects that combined multiple courses within one learning track.

Beyond academics, students engaged in extracurricular activities such as institutional celebrations, theater visits, cultural events, and commemorative days like Mother’s Day. The institute also focused on entrepreneurship training through its Productivity and Development course, which provided students with skills to develop business projects.

The graduation reflects CMI’s ongoing commitment to education as a strategic tool for sustainable capacity building among its workforce. Through CMI Educa programs, employees from brands such as Pollo Campero, Pollo Granjero, and Pizza La Siciliana receive training aimed at expanding their professional opportunities.

CMI is currently led by Juan José Gutiérrez Mayorga (President Chairman of CMI Alimentos) and Felipe Bosch Gutiérrez (President Chairman of CMI Capital). Both leaders have reaffirmed their commitment to continued investment in sustainable development initiatives that foster growth through education and entrepreneurship programs.

"At CMI – Corporación Multi Inversiones we reaffirm our commitment to training as an engine for development and competitiveness by promoting learning opportunities that strengthen our collaborators’ abilities," said company representatives during the ceremony.
