In the first post, the ministry announced a meeting between Fernando Suriano, Vice Minister of Transport, and representatives from the Gremial de Logística de la Cámara de Industria de Guatemala. In a subsequent post on the same day, Vice Minister Suriano emphasized the intended impact of the legislation. He stated: " “El objetivo es tener una ley que se pueda implementar y que verdaderamente resuelva las necesidades del sector”, afirmó el viceministro Suriano.

The ministry also provided details about the topics discussed during the meeting. As noted in another post: "Durante el encuentro, se abordaron los procesos técnicos y jurídicos necesarios, así como el mapeo de actores, para construir una ley que fortalezca instituciones, mejore la seguridad y aumente la competitividad logística del país."
