Mineduc Guatemala shares messages on dengue prevention and support resources

The Ministry of Education of Guatemala (Mineduc Guatemala) used its official Twitter account on November 7 and 8, 2025, to share information regarding public health, support for victims of sexual violence, and new communication channels.

On November 7, the ministry posted a message encouraging dengue prevention efforts in schools. The tweet stated: "¡Todos podemos contribuir en la prevención del dengue! Sigue estas recomendaciones en tu centro educativo para prevenir las larvas de los zancudos transmisores del dengue #SinZancudoNoHayDengue https://t.co/upcZIJKIxO".

Later that day, Mineduc Guatemala addressed support for victims of sexual violence. The tweet from November 7 read: "Si alguien fue víctima de violencia sexual y necesita hablarlo, tiende tu mano amiga para escucharlo. #1510Cuéntalo #Denuncia #NoMásViolenciaSexual #Denuncia https://t.co/DOs2Tg9hEY".

On November 8, the ministry announced a new way for the public to receive updates directly via WhatsApp. The tweet said: "Únete a nuestro canal de WhatsApp y recibe directo en tu celular nuestras últimas novedades e información que preparamos para ti Entra al enlace y abre WhatsApp, presiona “seguir” y activa las notificaciones https://t.co/o8TjKEIMTM https://t.co/woeIrYwZ9g".
