The Central Library has notified all users that borrowed library materials must be returned by November 28, 2025. The library asks for cooperation in meeting this deadline to help maintain the organization of its collection and ensure resources remain available for everyone.
The announcement also encourages users to check their current loans ahead of time, avoid late fees, and return items in good condition.

The notice includes information on upcoming activities. A virtual evening computer course is scheduled for July, with daily sessions at 17:00. Another event will take place on July 14 and 15 from 8:00 a.m. to noon in Laboratory No. 2, fourth floor of the library building. On August 13, there will be a conference titled "Transfer of the Capital of Guatemala and the People of Jocotenango."
