The Guatemalan Ministry of Communications shared updates on November 14, 2025, regarding ongoing infrastructure and educational facility projects in the country. The ministry detailed progress on roadworks and school renovations through a series of posts on its official X (formerly Twitter) account.

On November 14, the ministry announced preparations for new asphalt paving along a key roadway: "¡Abriendo paso al desarrollo! En la ruta Miramundo–San Carlos Alzatate-aldea Morazán ya está todo listo para iniciar la colocación de mezcla asfáltica en caliente."

Further elaborating on these works, another post from the same day described additional steps taken to ensure quality: "Se aplicó el primer riego de imprimación en 500 metros y continúa la preparación de materiales para garantizar calidad y durabilidad.
