On October 20, Mineduc Guatemala urged the public to participate in dengue prevention efforts within educational centers. The ministry stated: "¡Todos podemos contribuir en la prevención del dengue! Sigue estas recomendaciones en tu centro educativo para prevenir las larvas de los zancudos transmisores del dengue #SinZancudoNoHayDengue https://t.co/vKjVeGCPKI".
Later that same day, the ministry addressed the issue of sexual violence, encouraging those in need to seek help. The tweet read: "¡El silencio no es opción! Si necesitas ayuda, llama #1510Cuéntalo #NoMásViolenciaSexual #Denuncia https://t.co/IevcD38NKx".
On October 21, Mineduc Guatemala promoted its WhatsApp channel as a means for the public to receive timely updates and information directly on their mobile devices. The post stated: "Únete a nuestro canal de WhatsApp y recibe directo en tu celular nuestras últimas novedades e información que preparamos para ti Entra al enlace y abre WhatsApp, presiona “seguir” y activa las notificaciones https://t.co/o8TjKEJkJk https://t.co/8ZpyoB5xHk".
